Great video! Did mine today and didn’t have any problems. Took 5 hours start to finish; 2 hrs for the first one just to go slow, recheck the vid, and double check torque specs. The other 3 took 45-60 min each. Rears are much easier as there’s more room in the bigger wheel well and the bolts aren’t as tight. It was absolutely all my ass could do to get the front ones to 170 lb/ft. I also took my time jacking each wheel as my driveway has a slight slope. Could probably do it in less than 4 hours with a lift.

Dude, you didn't need to remove most of that stuff just to get to the condenser. Alot of needless disassembly on your part. After Market Condensers are much better than getting the Same Old Same Old, Just to end up having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM Again later.

For electrical and grounds i always recomend doing the big 4 with 1/0 welding cable

Good friend of mine and her husband both got new 2020 Yukon Denali suvs. Hers had the engine and transmission replaced. Her husband's had the transmission replaced. They are old, and don't stress the vehicles, have the oil changed at the stealership (my words not theirs). And now hers is stalling intermittently when coming to a stop.

So my 05 silverado doesn't shift into 3rd or 4th, and I can only go up to 50mph. If I replace the solenoids in this video, will that fix it? The transmission fluid isn't burnt or have any metal shavings in it either.

I used these NGK 97506 plugs in my 2019 X5 50i gapped at .022 and now getting misfires. engine is not tuned, stock. are the plugs only for tuned engine? thanks for your great video.

Do you have a part # for that converter all 2012/15 Camaro torque converters I look up gives converters for a 6l80.

On my 2017 Denali 1500 My capless gas flap broke about 6 months in and my driver side folding running board stopped extending about 2 years in other than that no real issues for me.

Pan Removal Trick: I have 2018 Tahoe 6L80 trans. and the pan will come right out! Not sure if your ride will have it (i know most do), but I removed the heat shield on passenger side of pan (2 bolts). Then I was able to slide the pan over to passenger side about 3 inches, then twisted the front of the pan towards the driver side and it came right out! Removing the little heat shield gives you lots more room. If you look at the back of the pan (shallow end), there is a little raised area on the bottom about 3 inches from the passenger side, that spot is the point that will allow you to move passed the exhaust y pipe (cross over pipe). Hope this helps!! 👍

I already knew how you replace it. I just had questions two years later when I checked it all out and only position #5 would work on fan speed. Now I'm going to replace the new two years old sensor to see if it fixes the problem. Or if I've got other issues with HVAC control panel

I just want to say thank you very much for this video. I recently bought a used 08 Trailblazer that had the CEL on for O2 sensors and the TCC solenoid. I am pretty good at working on cars, but seeing how messy this job was, I decided to take it to my local transmission shop to see if they would do it. I left them my car and when they were done, they told me that my tranny needed to be rebuilt and that was the only way to get rid of the code. However, they wanted $3,800; which is way more than what I paid for the car, so obviously I told them no thank you. I decided to just put on clothes that i didnt care about and order the solenoids on amazon to change them out. While it was messy, changing the solenoids fixed the issue and I was able to pass my inspection to register the car. It's a shame that there are shops out there that resort to these tactics, and take advantage of ignorant people. Thank you again for this very helpful video. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Im watching this video as I am weighing the considerations of replacing transmission and thinking about the remaining life of my engine. Been maintained well and hasnt produced many issues (yet) currently at 165k miles.

My truck has the updated version with 70 stamped on it, in summer I’m still reaching temps in the 170s-180s is that still too hot?

I have a 2019 Silverado LD Z71 (old body) - I bought the truck used with 40k miles two years ago, dealer certified. before 65K miles, I replaced both the water pump, and the starter. I’m at 75k now. Only other complaints are intermittent environmental dash control lights that flicker, and the shocks are completely shot.

Are the 1-2 and 3-4 solenoids the same parts? Does it matter if they are swapped by accident?

Does anyone have a solution for the airbox not releasing to get to the coils and plugs? My '18 G30 M550i is sitting in my garage with everything released and I cannot get the airbox to release!!!! At 4:44 time stamp is where I am stuck. I have tried prying with wrenches but I cannot get the airbox to budge. Please anyone, someone help!!!

Just put a condenser in my 2015 Silverado crewcab. Having issues with the radio. It seems to hav a mind of it's on. It starts changing stations on its on. Took it to the dealership it was under warranty so they fixed it. Two maybe 3 years later its doing the same thing. Make me think they put a faulty one in. 😂😂😂

About to do this on my father in laws 05. Better than a chisel, is the torch to heat all alone the hub before pounding. My 05vue took a 24 penetrator soak, torch and hammer, FOR 3 HOURS And i also coat the hub in anti seize before i put it in the knuckle and wire wheel the knuckle clean too.

Thank you! A person could also save time with the removal of the old links by using an impact driver on the bottom bolt and simply hold a wrench on the top (or vice versa if your impact is stubby enough to fit on the top). Get it off in 5 seconds!

@ 70k Miles my 14s plate popped right off with some penetrating oil and some channel locks. Probably didn't need the oil. I flipped the pill. I live in LA so the trans should always cycle IMO. HUGE THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!

Nice tge radiator was key and shortens work time by hours working on the lower cooler line nuts and the top bracket bolts. Thanks

Transmission gonna fall out! I have 2006 Dodge ram I bought it with 15000 miles had a buddy bought 2015 Silverado had it three years and torque converter failed! I still have my 2006 Dodge .Towed a boat for 3 years .Still going strong.

So nothing about the tail light harnesses corroding? Crazy. Have 4 of these trucks in the family, all 4 have a corodded turn signal bulb, varies left to right, from the socket inward. Somethings wrong with the sealing on the tail lights

I take it you didn't spin the motor over by hand a few revolutions after assembly to see if everything was happy?

Went with a pure 750 for my 2018 M2 LCI and it was the best thing and gave me some headroom. I make 600whp with flex fuel and 520whp on 93oct. The n55b is an amazing engine.

Those back three spark plugs are very hard to get to. That passenger bracket is problematic and those wire packs on the driver's side are difficult to remove. I got the middle spark plug fairly easy but decided to save the other two for later when I have some better tools to access that bracket. Japanese designers certainly failed in this design on these engines. Spark plugs are essential like oil changes and these people screwed both of these designs up. Great engine and car but the stupidity is beyond belief with these designs.

Mine is a 2017 Ltz 5.3 lt It looses power while driving to the point where it will turn off, I switched the battery still does the same thing Idling sometimes it starts to shutter I sometimes punch on the pedal and it doesn’t respond as it should , it starts to take off then looses power.

Do you need to get a valley cover ? Or just a gasket in so confused
